Thank you for taking interest in being a leader in our student ministry! We are so glad you did. First of all, there are two stategically different types of leadership: adult leadership and student leadership.
Adult Leadership: Volunteer as an adult student ministry leader by leading small groups, chaperoning student activities, assisting in music or food, or just to hanging out with our students to be a leader and model for them. Adult leadership meetings are on the First Sunday of Every Month except June, July and December at 12:15 pm and lunch and childcare are provided. If you are interested in volunteering as an Adult Leader, please contact Renee Helms. Also, don't forget to fill out the Background Check Form and email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Student Leadership: Our desire is to make disciples and raise up leaders. Leadership is the final step in the discipleship process here at CPC. We believe that every student has a talent that can be used by the Lord. We want to give our students an opportunity to use those gifts. Student leadership is a unique opportunity that our students have to grow deeper with Christ and learn the fundamental elemnts of leadership. The last Sunday of every month at 5 PM, we meet together to study scripture, leadership principles and prepare for upcoming ministry. We would love for your student to join our team so if you are interested, please contact Renee Helms.
